It feels like just yesterday that\u00c2\u00a0we met for the first time, and yet, you’ve already got one foot out the door. <\/p>\n
It’s a little bit\u00c2\u00a0unnerving how quickly you’ve come and gone, but I can’t exactly say that I’m sorry to see you go.\u00c2\u00a0 And now that you’re leaving, I feel like I can finally tell you tell you this…<\/p>\n
I’m not sure\u00c2\u00a0that I ever really liked you.<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n There I said it.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n I mean, let’s face it, you kind of sucked.\u00c2\u00a0 In fact, there were times when you Really.\u00c2\u00a0 Fucking.\u00c2\u00a0 Sucked.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n You know\u00c2\u00a0which times I’m talking about.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n And fyi, no, I don’t forgive you.<\/p>\n But…I do have to admit that\u00c2\u00a0you weren’t all bad either.\u00c2\u00a0 After all, you were the year that we finally found our very own little piece of this beautiful city.\u00c2\u00a0 And the year I got the promotion at work that I wanted so badly.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n And because of those things I won’t look back on you with total<\/em> disdain (just a lot of it).\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n Because of them you weren’t just a crappy year, you were a\u00c2\u00a0significant one.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n The good doesn’t outweigh the bad.\u00c2\u00a0 It can’t, at least not right now.\u00c2\u00a0 But still, good things \u00e2\u20ac\u201c life-altering good things \u00e2\u20ac\u201c did happen and I’m thankful for that.<\/p>\n So I don’t hate you.\u00c2\u00a0 If things turn out the way I hope, someday I will probably even look back on you fondly.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n In the meantime, if you could put in a good word for me with 2011, I’d really appreciate it.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0If it could succeed where you failed, that would\u00c2\u00a0go a long way in me forgiving you.\u00c2\u00a0 Just so you know.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n Love, Here goes nothing<\/em> It feels like just yesterday that\u00c2\u00a0we met for the first time, and yet, you’ve already got one foot out the door.
