{"id":266,"date":"2011-03-14T17:30:14","date_gmt":"2011-03-15T01:30:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/transcended.net\/?p=266"},"modified":"2011-03-14T17:30:14","modified_gmt":"2011-03-15T01:30:14","slug":"because-this-broken-road-prepares-your-will-for-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/transcended.net\/?p=266","title":{"rendered":"because this broken road prepares your will for me"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the weekend I watched <em>Eat Pray Love.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/em>I gotta say, I didn&#8217;t love it.<\/p>\n<p>But it was okay.\u00c2\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t have to fast-forward through any of it at least and I did get one good line out of it:<\/p>\n<p><em>Ruin is a gift.\u00c2\u00a0 Ruin is the road to transformation.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve felt that way before.\u00c2\u00a0 Almost seven years ago, to be exact (or approximate, whatever).\u00c2\u00a0 When I was dumped by the first boy I really thought I wanted to be with for the rest of my life.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But then I met Paul a few months later.\u00c2\u00a0 And suddenly everything made sense, not just having my heart broken by\u00c2\u00a0the ex, but everything before that too.\u00c2\u00a0 And everything in between.\u00c2\u00a0 All the bad, sometimes abusive relationships, all the things in college I only WISH I could forget, every stupid boy I&#8217;ve ever met&#8230;existed for a reason.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>Ruin is a gift.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m trying to remember that now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the weekend I watched Eat Pray Love.\u00c2\u00a0 I gotta say, I didn&#8217;t love it.
