For Paul and I, 2011 snuck off under the cover of darkness while we slept.<\/p>\n

It was sort of fitting really.<\/p>\n

As years go, 2011 was a fairly uneventful one.\u00c2\u00a0 No significant life changes, good or bad, just…life.<\/p>\n

The year…passed.\u00c2\u00a0 And now it’s gone.\u00c2\u00a0 And suddenly here we are at the beginning of another one.<\/p>\n

I went back and read my “goals” for last year.\u00c2\u00a0 I fell unsurprisingly short on most fronts.\u00c2\u00a0 And achieved a few.<\/p>\n

I thought about making some for 2012 but the truth is, I just don’t have it in me.\u00c2\u00a0 Not right now.<\/p>\n

So for now, I am just trying to stick with this Project 366 thing.\u00c2\u00a0 I can’t even remember the last time I stuck with anything <\/em>for 366 whole days in\u00c2\u00a0a row.<\/p>\n

For Day 1, a bowl of clam chowder Paul made (Hog Island style).\u00c2\u00a0 The picture is whatever (out of focus and underexposed), but\u00c2\u00a0the chowder\u00c2\u00a0was certainly the most memorable part of New Year’s Day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
