sin city...there we went!

For some odd reason, just as I was supposed to be leaving for work this morning I decided it would be a really great time to upload my pictures from my first trip to Vegas on Memorial Day weekend. Please enjoy as I was thirty minutes late to work because of this very post.

I hate traffic.

Here we are stuck behind a slow truck and an even slower big rig. Have I told you lately how much I hate traffic?

My first view of Sin City as we drive to New York, New York to drop off Paul's momma. First thought? I'd rather be in Manhattan. But the mini version is kinda cute.

Paul's mom was nice enough to let us have the room at the Venetian. I am compelled to take a picture of the lavish bathroom. You can't see the shower but its walls are made of glass and I totally weirded Paul out the next day by staring at him intently while he was in there.

And here's the suite itself. You can see our living room (which opened up into a beautiful view of the construction site next door).

Paul and his mom after we gorged ourselves at the Bellagio buffet.

Paul's mom couldn't stop laughing at how many chocolate covered strawberries I ate.

Because the buffet wasn't quite enough, we decided we needed more sugar and bought a daquiri the size of my upper torso. MmMmm...giant-sized alcoholic sugar drinks.

Walking around the next day, trying to burn off some of those daquiri calories. Here I am at the Wynn admiring the flower balls hanging from the ceiling.

More giant drinks.

Paul doesn't know how to use my camera.

Like all good Republicans, my baby loves a good cigar.

The damage to my feet. I was limping for a week.

Like the true fuddy duddy's that we are we spent an afternoon watching Bulls & Bears on the FoxNews Channel. My poor feet needed a break.

And there you have it. My first Vegas experience. Conclusion? I'd go again, but only because of all the free stuff.
