L word update So the third season of The L Word is on its third episode. It is funnier than the second season but I am not impressed. First off, way too political. And just guess what the political leanings are of a bunch of LA power-lesbians. No, I'm not too surprised about that. But another unfortunate development is the horribly mannish looking boyfriend that my former favorite character has picked up. Can you say ew? wingless was still breathing at 10:32 PM -

So you have me checking on the show now... I admit it... lol, she is not that bad but I have very skewed taste when it comes to the physical appearance... I agree it is way to political, "She lost her funding because they say the content is critical of the bush admin [...] this administration is criminal! This is the new McCarthyism, thats what this is... blah blah blah" so very juvenile and petty of the writer/producer (who ever pushes for that stuff in this case).
I think the same character that went off on Bushy is suppose to be some kind of socialist, some of the other things she said made me think the character is designed as a little revolutionary. What the character said about bush does not factor in to the idea that she is a socialist of some kind. It was something like "I can't believe you -blah blah blah- me with those bourgeois worries.” Really, who uses "bourgeois" in that way? only little red flag wavers, thats who!!
lol

I thought the same thing when she was telling her lover not to bother her with those "bourgeois worries." I was like gee, keeping your finances balanced and a roof over your head is suddenly a "bourgeois" worry? I thought that was pretty much an across the board type of worry!
