One last thing before I go...

Do liberals/Democrats support the troops? John Hawkins' latest Townhall column pretty much puts that question to rest. Not to give away the ending or anything, but the answer to the question is a big fat N-O.

i don't think anyone supports the troops.(i am generalizing for dramatic effect)

republicans pump money into the war machine, and send kids to die for something they barely understand/care about. does that count as support?

liberals/democrats use their power of the pocket to starve a war they don't understand/care about.

people that actually do care can't do anything about it because we are too stupid/poor/powerless/combination thereof, to produce a better solution/more money.

as such, only stupid poor people care. wow my weak logical reasoning would lend perfectly to a political career

Haha, I see your point and I know how you meant it (if this is the right Eric I'm thinking of) but you know me so you know I gotta argue with at least one thing you said...

"republicans pump money into the war machine, and send kids to die for something they barely understand/care about. does that count as support?"

Republicans don't send kids to die, we want them to kick ass and then come home so they can live to kick more ass some other day...unfortunately death is one of those inescapable realities of war.
